I was just informed that Ruby Mull passed away this morning. This is a loss for us, but a GLORIOUS DAY FOR RUBY! Pray for Larry Mull and their family. The world needs a million more Christians like Ruby, but no one can say she didn't put in enough time or labor on earth working for the Lord. Ruby is having her best day ever, reunited with Jesus and Hugh. We would all do well to live and finish as Ruby lived and finished. -Gary
Weather people are predicting "dangerously cold" temperatures and wind chills for Wednesday, so we are cancelling our Wednesday night rehearsal for The Easter Song. However, Friday looks like a "Heat Wave" to me (temperature in the 20s? a little snow in the morning only?). So anyone who can make it on Friday evening, please come. Same place and time: Arlington Christian Church. 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Friday Feb 1. Please pass this word along to anyone else you know of or can think of who may be interested in the musical, since we are still in recruiting mode and can still more participants. Encourage people to come Friday or next Wednesday if they can't make it this week. It's still not to late to join us. But I would encourage you all to make an effort to attend rehearsals from here on out, as we only have 9 more regular rehearsals after this week. Next week we will resume Wednesday practices. Stay warm. Stay happy. Hope to see you Friday! Rick

Praise God for blessing our 2018 “Fall Festival”! We had bad weather, but we still had a good time. The children enjoyed the games, bounce house and cotton candy, and hot dogs. There were a total of 120 or more people who attended the event. The best thing that happened at the festival, was that 50 kids heard the gospel of Jesus Christ our SAVIOR. Several of the kids had no idea who Jesus was, and we had the privilege of introducing them to JESUS for the 1st time! Praise God! “THANK YOU” to all these servants of Christ, who helped the FALL FESTIVAL run like a well oiled machine: Phyllis Cherry, Lurinda Smith, Rob, Marie, Ashley and Adam Bousman, Remington, Rick, Leah & Noreen Kemple, Rachel Hurst, David and Barb Drake, Wendy Keck, Henry Begley, Ron and Cindy Weddle, Pat Smith, Dalyn, Katie and Alisyn Holt, Tom Smith, Tim, Angie and Abigail Sloan, Joe Conde, Tanya, Jason and Josh VanOsdol, Sharon, Carrie Scholl and Philip Scholl, Judy Henson, Diane and Rob Newhouse, Samantha Glover, Ronnie Keck and Michelle Clark, Leah Kemple, Abigail, Brad, Stacey and Andi Berkemeier, Arissa whitfield, Maura Stratton, Tori Gordon, Caty Bockover, Sharlene Wagner, Dan Schwartz. So many people helped, if I missed your name I apologize and you are LOVED! Praise God, Gary D. Holt
There is a lot going on in Arlington today! Sunday school starts the day for young and young at heart (classes for ages 2-102!) at 9:30. Not sure which class to go to, just ask when you come and we will get you to a class! Morning worship is at 10:30. Come fellowship and worship the Lord through song, Communion (available to ALL believers), and the teaching of the Word by our minister, Gary Holt. Then at 4pm, our Free Fall Festival Family Fun begins! Register in the parking lot to enter into the fun! We have games, a lesson, bounce house, face painting, pumpkin painting, live music, cotton candy, bonfire, hot dog dinner, smores, and a hayride! Bring the kids and the grandkids or just come and fellowship around the fire. Can't wait to see you today! -Rachel Hurst

ACC children helped residents at Miller's Merry Manor worship Sunday afternoon by singing some songs for them, including this one from V.B.S.! They even gave the residents homemade pom-poms so they could cheer for the Lord with them!
Gotta Move! VBS come join us at 6:00 Sunday to Thursday. Look at all the fun we are having!
